On CentOS 7, both the systemd service files and the init.d scripts are installed. Would it not make more sense to only install the init.d scripts if systemd is not present? I think this was causing systemctld to fail on startup of my system, but I'm not entirely sure. https://github.com/SchedMD/slurm/blob/master/slurm.spec#L423 Thanks! Steve
Steven, This ticket is over a year old and JHMI has not procured a support contract. We are going to time out this ticket for now, but we will reopen and address the issue if JHMI purchases a support contract. Jacob
