Hello, We are going to be migrating from slurm 21.08.8 to the latest stable 23.xx, this is to enable MIG on our A100's. We do plan to shut the entire cluster down, including the database for the upgrade. I was curious if we needed to upgrade to version 22 first, being major versions before the jump to 23, or if we could go straight from 21.08 to 23.xx? Best, Hudson

Hello John, You can jump from 21.08 to 23.02 without upgrading to 22.05. I have attached some documentation describing the best upgrade process, as well as the release notes of 23.02. I would suggest backing up then upgrading your slurmdbd first, before the upgrading the rest of your cluster. > https://slurm.schedmd.com/quickstart_admin.html#upgrade > https://slurm.schedmd.com/news.html
