Description Wei Feinstein 2015-01-27 09:43:47 MST
Would like to have a utility that will report out the raw usage on both an account and/or qos. If a hard limit is set on an association (Account or QOS) for usage it would be nice to have a utility that can summarize the usage as compared to the limits so we can see if a user is or has gone over their allocated amount of resources.

Tried sacct and sreport but not getting the information I would like.

The report could be as follows:

UserName Account Total CPU Usage CPU Limits

or

UserName Account QOSName Total CPU Usage CPU Limits

Thanks

Jackie

Hi Jackie,
I think today this is possible with some scripting using sacct and sacctmgr. I will try it and propose something.

Hi Jackie,
which of the many limit you have in mind here. We discussed this
and it is not as simple indeed. I tried to merge the output of sacct and sacctmgr
but the result is not satisfactory. Perhaps the best solution here would be to use the APIs. However could you please elaborate in more detail what you have in mind, which limits and gives an example so we can possibly give you a better suggestion.
