Description John Hosie 2014-03-19 13:05:26 MDT
Attempting an rpmbuild of slurm.2.6.6-2.tar.bz2 on RHEL6 fails requiring a prereq of a package called "job". Same thing occurs with slurm.2.6.7.tar.bz2.

We are attempting to install a scheduler that works on a 40 node HPC cluster with xcat that is expected to expand to over 500 nodes. Slurm was the first choice, but if we can't build an RPM from the distribution tar.bz2, we will have to abandon this path.

Hi,
we can build the rpm without problems on:

david@prometeo /tmp>cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.5 (Final)
david@prometeo /tmp>uname -a
Linux prometeo 2.6.32-431.3.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Jan 3 21:39:27 UTC
2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

can you show us a screen shot?
