Description Bjørn-Helge Mevik 2025-08-18 02:31:35 MDT
Dear support!

This is more a question than a bug report, really.

Currently, configless mode distributes Prolog and Epilog scripts. Are there any plans for distributing also the TaskProlog and TaskEpilog scripts?

Regards,
Bjørn-Helge Mevik

Hi Bjørn-Helge,

You're in luck, we just committed a patch to do this yesterday:

> https://github.com/SchedMD/slurm/commit/fc77dbc
> https://github.com/SchedMD/slurm/commit/eec8aee

This change was applied to version 25.11, which will release in November. Once the new version of Slurm releases and you upgrade to it, you will be able to ship TaskProlog/TaskEpilog scripts in configless mode.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions, otherwise I'll go ahead and close this ticket.

Regards,
Thomas
