Description Matt Alton 2019-09-09 10:44:21 MDT
Hello,

One of my client's want Slurm to send email on all state changes of a job. After my client indicated this was not working I found the MTA I am using will not accept email from my Slurm user and will only process unauthenticated email from "donotreply@university.ac.uk".

Is there a variable that can be set anywhere to specify an email from address? I have no objection to recompiling if this needs to be set in the source code.

From my investigation into this, I am suspecting Slurm does not have this functionality available via slurm.conf or sbatch flags.

Can anyone offer any pointers on this?

Regards,
Matt.

Matt,

Our support team can help with this, but first the client will need to purchase a SchedMD Slurm support contract either through OCF or directly with SchedMD. If you email me directly at jacob@schedmd.com then I can share support options and costs with you for this client.

Jacob

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for your response. I've implemented a workaround using Postfix mappings.

Regards,
Matt.
